The Erie Better Beer Bureau
The Erie Better Beer Bureau is a group dedicated to bringing good beer to Erie county and acting as an advocate for the customers of the Erie craft beer market. We aim to provide the most up-to-date and relevant craft beer news, reviews, opinions and information available. Must be 21 or older to view. As always, please drink responsibly.
About
One day a few years ago, the three of us were sitting in a local six-pack shop discussing the virtues of various fine beers. Questions about the selections in the craft coolers were as often as not pointed in our direction. The bartender, who had participated in our conversation as much as he was able for the last two hours, quipped, “We should just pay these three guys to sit around and talk about beer!”
Sadly, that did not happen, but the seed of an idea was planted. We talk about beer all the time anyway; why not do more? And thus was the Better Beer Bureau born.
Though the Erie area craft beer market has grown steadily in the last few years, there isn’t any one central source of information that can be tapped to provide interested consumers with information related to upcoming events, new releases or other worthwhile beer news. We already do that pretty much anyway, why not share? It is our goal to become the go-to source of beer news in Erie county, independent of the wholesalers, distributors, and establishment proprietors.

Always on the hunt for new and unique beers. Morey has a reputation for doing whatever it takes to bring new and fresh beer into the Erie market. Dave
He is always willing to give you his opinion….whether you ask for it or not. Some call him cynical, some say he is just brutally honest. In his opinion the more hops the better, but Dave appreciates all beer styles for what they are, or supposed to be.

Pat
An unapologetic nerd and craft beer enthusiast, Pat began sampling craft beers in the summer of 2005. Though a hop head at heart, he also enjoys experiencing new styles and releases on their own merits.
