Welcome to the Better Beer Bureau. If you’ve found your way here, you’re probably either already a discerning craft beer customer or someone new to the craft beer scene, to whom the staggering array of craft beers to choose from may seem a bit overwhelming. In either case, welcome!
The Erie area and the country as a whole is entering an exciting new era in the field of alcoholic beverages. Craft beer consumption is growing rapidly even as overall beer consumption is on the decline. We can only hope that is because an increasing number of Americans have grown tired of the hundreds of millions of barrels of thin, bland pilsners and other lagers with spiffy marketing campaigns and filled with cheap ingredients such as corn and rice. As this market grows, it is important to make sure the most important part of the chain gets the voice and representation it has been sorely lacking over the past few decades. What is the most important part? You, the customer. Brewers, wholesalers, distributors and proprietors would be nothing if not for the consuming public. As long as information flows both ways, our burgeoning craft beer market can only continue to grow.
